Beskrivning

The SNR Cable (Serial Number Reader) is a specialized diagnostic cable used by Apple's authorized technicians and certified repair partners to retrieve serial numbers and diagnostic data from non-powering Lightning-based iOS devices. As long as the device's Tristar / Hydra IC remains functional, this cable can pull the serial number directly from the chip — even when the device itself will not boot, charge, or respond. Easily identified by its distinctive asymmetric housing and the double-arrow glyph printed on the Lightning connector, the SNR cable exposes SWD, JTAG, USB, and UART interfaces through the Lightning port, making it a versatile tool for board-level diagnostics, logic analysis, and recovery workflows. Key Features Reads serial numbers from dead or non-booting Lightning iOS devices via the Tristar / Hydra IC Exposes SWD, JTAG, USB, and UART interfaces through the Lightning connector Used by Apple internal service teams and authorized repair channels Ideal for logic board diagnostics, data recovery preparation, and advanced troubleshooting Distinctive double-arrow glyph on connector for quick identification Compatibility Designed for Lightning-equipped iPhones and iPads where the Tristar (U2) / Hydra chip is still functional. Intended Use For professional repair technicians, microsoldering specialists, and board-level repair shops performing advanced diagnostics or device identification on damaged units.
